• A "gem" color Kashmir sapphire and pink
diamond ring. Handmade in 18K white gold with 0.56ct
of pink diamond.
• This intense to vivid blue Kashmir sapphire is
80% tone, with no eye visible inclusions or moderate (MI1)
clarity. The stone was recut in America to optimize
the beauty and then recertified with a second Swiss laboratory
verifying the origin as Kashmir (Gubelin & GRS).
The dimensions remained the same before and after recutting.
The stone is under two carats with a 58% depth so
the face is a very large 2.25ct. This is a beautiful inexpensive
Kashmir sapphire. The option to unmount the stone
from the pink diamond ring is available.
• Viewed with microscope at 50x magnification:
The identifying internal inclusions show classic zones
of alternating turbity and rich color. The stone
contains a cluster of very small rounded zircon with comet
tails near the culet visible under the microscope at 40x
magnification.
