Mica inclusions are one of the identifying features for Kashmir. This protogenetic inclusion was captured between twin crystals during growth.
This old mine sapphire is an excellent specimen displaying the terrace-like steps from the mica's cleavage, irridescense, and light textured silk.
The tumbled and corroded pyramid crystal is transparent with sections of clean 'gueda' pockets that could be thermally enhanced.
