A vivid pinkish purple-red (fushcia) color sapphire from Pakistan, Kashmir. The mines are near the village Basel along the Line of Control (LOC)-(Batakundi, Pakistan Kashmir).
The gemstone has strong saturation, good brilliance, well-balanced proportions and good clarity for this locale. There's a small pin-point inclusion along the girdle seen at a low angle. This size, clarity, and light 'fushcia texture' are rare for this location.
